Abstract

Increasing competition along with disruptions has become the normal norm for business. Organizations are supposed to do business in a network-based economy. The more complex the network is higher the challenges. For those businesses where most of the value added is upstream there the role of SME becomes more important. As supply chain of these SMEs impact largely the performance of the network to which they belong. A framework is required for the effectiveness of their supply chain. This study on supply chain of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) addresses the concerns of effectiveness of the supply chain of SMEs.
