Abstract

Over the last two years, disruption has demonstrated to the world what have long suspected: that flexible and resilient supply chains are critical facilitators of commerce and crucial for firms seeking to surpass their competitors. Organizations in the supply chain cannot afford to allow interruptions to have a limited impact. In addition, there will always be interruptions, whether they be caused by natural disasters, resource shortages, global trade wars, or other unavoidable but unforeseen occurrences. Increase commercial growth by leveraging the supply chain. Organisations are under pressure to maintain existing levels of profitability while meeting standards for sustainability, speed, and innovation. This study attempts to understand the supply chain disruptions and role of resilience and agility in shaping the supply chain performance.
