Abstract

The purpose of the study described in this paper was to investigate the connection between the personal efficacy of Indian managers and their emotional intelligence. 113 supervisors were chosen from various associations in India. The "SREIT" and "Personal Efficacy Scale" questionnaires were distributed to the participants. The Manager's personal efficacy and emotional intelligence are significantly linked, according to data analysis and statistical calculations. A regression analysis was also conducted to determine which aspects of emotional intelligence might be more capable of predicting a manager's personal efficacy. A manager's self-efficacy was found to be well-predicted by the four subscales of emotional intelligence: "Emotional Regulation," "Facilitate Emotion," "Perceive & Appraise Emotion," and "Understand Emotion." With reference to the earlier findings, the research's conclusions and implications were discussed.
