A Review Study on Electronic waste Reduction by Producer Companies

Abstract
E-waste is basically that electronic item which are discarded by their user or not in use. E-waste is become very critical issue now a days. Problem of e-waste is become more complex after Covid-19 because uses of electronic items are in high demand such as Laptop, Computer, and Tablets etc. Electronic producer companies are focusing on launch of their new products and they are not so responsive e-waste. Rapid growth in technology helping in generation of e-waste. This is happening because of generation of e-waste is much higher then recycling of e-waste.
The rapid advancement of technology has led to pro filtration of electronic devices resulting in a significant increase in e-waste. E-waste possesses numerous environmental and health risk. If not managed properly technology, companies play crucial role in entire life cycle of electronic devices, from design and production to disposal. Technology companies has only one who can make most appropriate policy to take challenge of e-waste issue. Technology companies can take e issue through producer responsibility for their electronic products from sale of their product to end of their product complete life cycle. Technology companies can help in solving problem of e-waste through making proper policies for buy back and e-waste collection from direct consumers.
resent Covid-19 situation demand of electronic items has increased dramatically due to global lockdown and concept of work from home has applicable from many companies resulting in huge rise in sale of Computers, Laptop, Tablets, Smart Phones. End result of this we will face in near future is increased problems of e-waste with opportunity in e-waste management.
This Review paper provides the Present scenario of Technology Companies role in management of e-waste in present Indian context.
