Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the e-learning factors that influence self-directed learning in senior secondary schools. This study demonstrated a significant connection among student, E- learning and Self-Directed Learning. Self-Directed learning was used as the dependent variable in a regression analysis, and the other seven factors were used as the independent variables. The study found that the variables of e-learning differ in importance from each other for self-directed learning which in descending order are interactive e-lesson, LED instructor, virtual classroom, electronic simulation, online discussion, mobile learning and flip classroom.
