Impact of Financial Management Practices on the Growth of SSI in Indore

Abstract

Small Scale Industries (SSIs) are the backbone of India’s economy. They generate employment, support inclusive growth and contribute significantly to exports and GDP. The study analyzes the production and sales trends over the period 2009 to 2018, with forecasts extending to 2028, supported by autocorrelation and partial autocorrelation analysis. The actual data reveals a consistent upward trajectory in both production and sales, though sales consistently outpace production, indicating strong demand pressures and potential reliance on external sources. Forecasted values suggest continued growth with cyclical fluctuations, highlighting recurring supply dips while demand remains resilient.
