Abstract

The present study purposes to explore the role of emotional intelligence in boosting the job performance of salespersons’ working in Haryana and NCR region of India. Four hundred and twenty-four salespersons from different organizations participated in the study. This study implemented survey-based research while using a standardized questionnaire to collect data. Structured equation modelling was applied to test the hypothesis. The findings reveal that the emotional intelligence of salespersons has a positive significant impact on the job performance of respondents. The current study gains significance as the findings can assist organizations and managers in enhancing the job performance of their employees.
