RISHIKESH: “A WORTHWHILE DESTINATION FOR BLEISURE"
Main Article Content
Abstract
This study explores the possibilities of bleisure tourism, or the blending of leisure and business travel, in Rishikesh, India. We examine the perspectives of tourism stakeholders using a mixed-method approach and the Delphi technique to determine the potential for increasing leisure travel in the area.
The development of Rishikesh's leisure tourist sector depends heavily on a number of factors, including food experiences, historical sites, religious landmarks, national parks, adventure tourism, and local hospitality. The study also highlights the necessity of taking strategic actions such enhancing stakeholder collaboration, flight connectivity, cultural revitalisation initiatives, and human resource qualification improvements.
