Abstract

The goal of this research is to investigate the creative potential of combining the traditional Japanese Shibori dyeing procedure with the intricate knotting technique of Macramé to create one-of-a-kind beautiful fashion pieces. Through a study, the essay analyses the confluence of these two textile technologies, assessing their compatibility, design possibilities, and aesthetic appeal. The research employs a mixed-methods approach that combines qualitative interviews, practical experimentation, and analysis of the generated fashion pieces. The findings of this study contribute to a better understanding of creative approaches to textile art and provide insight into the development of new design methods in the field of decorative fashion.
