Innovation and Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) in India

Abstract

Sustainable development (S.D) has become very important among policy makers as an alternative model of development. Innovation becomes necessary for achieving sustainable development goals. There are several forms of innovations like inclusive innovation, mission oriented innovation and grassroots innovation. These innovation will help counties to achieve national development while are dealing with societal issues and environmental challenges.  India has accepted SDG as the foundation of its development plan. Several important initiatives have been undertaken Jal mission, Digital India, affordable health systems are being   implemented for achieving SDGs.
