Unpacking the Path to Organizational Citizenship Behavior: The Mediating Role of Commitment and Work Engagement in the Hospitality Sector

Abstract
This study investigates the impact of organizational factors—namely Perceived Organizational Support, Distributive Justice, and Organizational Culture—on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) among employees in the hospitality sector. Specifically, it explores the mediating roles of Perceived Organizational Commitment and Work Engagement in shaping citizenship behaviors. Data were collected from 845 hotel employees in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India, and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to validate the proposed conceptual model.
