Sales and Inventory Analysis for B2B Company Using Power BI: Insights and Visualization

Abstract
Data visualization plays a crucial role in transforming large and complex datasets into intuitive insights, enabling faster and more informed business decisions. This research proposes the development of theoretical framework that will help B2B company improve their inventory management. Using historical sales data, inventory data and Power BI, an operational and engaging dashboard is created that can give real-time information daily inventory position, sale trends and lead times. Action Design Method are used for getting the business need to bridge the gap of between theoretical and practical based. ABC analysis and forecasting sales are also created on the dashboard. In the quantitative phase within an actual Thai B2B firm, the use of the dashboard is shown which led to the efficiency in the controls of inventories, effectiveness in stock management and made it easier for the different departments to make informed decisions. The structure of our solution is easily adaptable throughout industries, allowing it to be a beneficial resource for firms interested in supply chain management.
